my special place #2Posted by Kathryn (Warburton, Australia) on 8 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural. A continuation of Kylie's theme. This is a view of the Upper Yarra Valley where I live and where I have lived most of my life so of course this place has a big and special importance to me. This part of the valley is located roughly an hour and a half drive east of Melbourne. The Yarra Valley is well known for the wineries but the Upper Yarra Valley is mainly residential with Warburton (near the head of the valley) being a slightly trendy tourist town. While driving out of the valley I often stop by the roadside here to take in and capture the view. Thank you all so much for your lovely encouraging comments. I am getting quite busy and am finding that i don't have a lot of time for both photography and maintaining this blog as much as i would like to so i probably won't be able to reply to each and every comment from now on but i promise i will eventually get around to visiting your blog! Happy snapping everybody! Kaha the Kiwi has set off again on his journey around the world to see all of his AM3 friends. Keep up to date with his adventures on his own blog here. Safe travels Kaha and i hope you have a ton of fun! Thanks for viewing my photograph!
