morning dew

another experiment with my macro diopters - this time capturing the spider web on my decking during yesterday morning's sunrise. The depth of field with these lenses is extremely narrow so i am still trying to learn to work with it - basically i am just happy that atleast some of the drop are actually in focus! haha

Thank you all so much for your lovely encouraging comments. I am getting quite busy and am finding that i don't have a lot of time for both photography and maintaining this blog as much as i would like to so i probably won't be able to reply to each and every comment from now on but i promise i will eventually get around to visiting your blog! Great, more beter if used minimum F number, such as f5.6 :)

@Reza: thanks Reza and thanks for the feeback! I have found though that if i used a large apeture like a f5.6 with these macro filters the dof becomes almost non-existant and very hard to use when i am doing hand held work - though maybe i should stop being lazy and set up my tripod! haha!

Nicely done. The use of a high f stop withthe diapters allows you to focus more than a few of the drops. I can actually see the drops start to act as lenses themselves. Nice use of the center, or rather, non-use, since to slide right past the center in order to draw our attention down to the big juicy drops in the lower half of the frame. The thing out of focus in the background adds color and visual interest without actually being something to which we must divert our attention. Thank you.
