morning

this was taken one cold, dewy morning down on the same riverflats that can be seen in this image. The area is farmland and this early in the morning the sounds of the cows moo-ing, waiting to be milked, was amazingly loud!

Thank you all so much for your lovely encouraging comments. I am getting quite busy and am finding that i don't have a lot of time for both photography and maintaining this blog as much as i would like to so i probably won't be able to reply to each and every comment from now on but i promise i will eventually get around to visiting your blog! Nice image. It's hard to imagine noisy mooing cows here...it all looks so quiet and tranquil.

@Suzanne: yeah i know and i am guessing the fog would have been muffling the sound a bit too... but it was actually quite a nice sound, though very loud. Thanks Suzanne!

what a contrast from the other shot you linked to, I like this shot very much though I like being out and about in the early misty mornings, especially in the country its a magical time, and the sound of the cows Mooing I so wish I was there I am a country boy at heart

@JJ: yeah it is a great time! though i am not a city girl this was actually the first time that i have been so close to a big herd of cattle and was really surprised at the noise they make - i am very glad i live further up the hills away from it! haha. Thank again JJ!

So gloomy and beautiful! I really lobe the barbed wires against the grass. Barbed wire can't stop the grass and the trees! They grow anyways.

I like it! The fog is great... I can never get a good fog photo. Also I like how the sky color goes from gray to reddish.
