another cloud picture...

i just couldn't resist!! They fill me with such wonder and excitement!

This was taken just after a storm passed over two days ago - it was an amazing afternoon with many thunderstorms and awesome cloud formations but unfortunately none of my images really turned out except for this one and even then I accidently had the iso and exposure functions set wrong so it has turned out more grainy than I would have liked. oh well still a great time was had chasing the storms on my rambling trip home from work!

Thank you all so much for your lovely encouraging comments. I am getting quite busy and am finding that i don't have a lot of time for both photography and maintaining this blog as much as i would like to so i probably won't be able to reply to each and every comment from now on but i promise i will eventually get around to visiting your blog! Happy snapping everybody!

Hay Kathryn, promise me you will never stop giving us clouds!!! I LOVE them too and so I can quite understand you fascination and wonder:-)
I LOVE it:-) There it is...just gliding along quite quickly I think, whilst the other clouds are slow and create the backdrop!! See, I'm just as excited by clouds LOL:-) great shot!!

@Linerberry: ok i promise...but you may wish i hadn't - i have literally hundreds of them! haha. I am so glad that you are passionate about them too! I guess i am just not as confident with posting cloud pictures because most of my friends think i am nuts constantly looking at and photographing the sky! Thanks for your encouraging comment Liners!

hehehe. did you lie on the ground as a child and watch the ever changing shapes the clouds would make? it was a favorite pastime for me! I am posting a cloud shot for Dimitrios' xmas challenge. Keep looking up Kathryn there is a whole otherworld up there.!!!!

@maxine: yeah indeed there is! and yes i loved doing that as a kid and still do as a big kid! the place where i am working at the moment has a fantastic view of the sky and i spend my whole lunchtime staring up and imagining! cool i will look forward to your pic - i must start thinking about that challenge myself!
