Haast Pass

A view from the Haast Pass in New Zealand. I took this as I was leaving the west coast for the final time of my trip last year. I am posting it now as I am finding that this place has been increasingly encroaching on my mind of late in a manner similar to homesickness - this I find weird as I only lived there for a few months but it seems it had even more of an effect on me than I had realized.

Thank you all so much for your lovely encouraging comments. I am getting quite busy and am finding that i don't have a lot of time for both photography and maintaining this blog as much as i would like to so i probably won't be able to reply to each and every comment from now on but i promise i will eventually get around to visiting your blog!
