steam's shadow

Posted by Kathryn (Warburton, Australia) on 18 January 2009 in Business & Industry and Portfolio.

I went road-tripping yesterday and passed by a massive open-cut coal mine - the biggest in Australia apparently! - and being a future geologist (hopefully! i find out tomorrow if i have been accepted into Uni...) i was very excited. Then as a photographer i was super excited when i found the road travelled right beside these massive cooling towers allowing me to snap this shot out the car window and capture the steam's shadow nicely upon the tower.

Thank you all so much for your lovely encouraging comments. I am getting quite busy and am finding that i don't have a lot of time for both photography and maintaining this blog as much as i would like to so i probably won't be able to reply to each and every comment from now on but i promise i will eventually get around to visiting your blog! Happy snapping everybody!

Thanks for viewing my photograph!
