Over the last few days Melbourne has experienced its longest and harshest heat wave on record - including three consecutive days over 43C - ouch!!! Consequently, i couldn't drag myself out of the pool yesterday to post an image on here but i did manage to quickly snap this shot. I hope the weather wherever you are is a little more kind!

Thank you all so much for your lovely encouraging comments. I am getting quite busy and am finding that i don't have a lot of time for both photography and maintaining this blog as much as i would like to so i probably won't be able to reply to each and every comment from now on but i promise i will eventually get around to visiting your blog! Happy snapping everybody!

Wow I send you my coldest thoughts and wishes. I certainly couldn't cope with that sort of emp. It has been a lovely 30C here today. Love this shot though. I see Kaha has made it to Willows and is now being photographed in the snow!!!

@jamesy: hehe yeah lucky him i say!! he is off to visit Susan in Florida in the next few days though! and we are set for another heat wave and big bushfire weather here again from tomorrow! argh! Thanks Deb!

@Diane Schuller: yeah it is pretty crazy - another heat wave is set to hit us tomorrow! and then some areas of Australia are experiencing massive floods and drought at the same time - how does that work?!?!? haha. i'm impressed that it has made news where you are though!

@Margie: Thanks Margie! nah no rain sadly and more heatwaves hitting parts of the country tomorrow!! unfortuneately it was my friends pool but i do have a good airconditioner and icecream!! haha. hope it's cooler in Auckland!

@Susan: hehe yep that sounds about right! and it's forecast to get even worse tomorrow - like 47C and this time with hot strong winds to fan the big bushfires in our state.... fun - NOT!!! Hope it is cooler where you are!! Thanks Susan!
